Willow knew it wasn’t exactly the way the Technopagans would want her to think about it. But it would shut her brain up when she’d run into Tara on campus and things were awkward. And shutting her brain up was a major step in letting things play out on their own, the way she knew they should.
I really loved this; Willow is really trying to learn to handle magic the right way, but she also knows herself enough to realize that for the moment, she might need another excuse to not do a spell.
