It's been a crazy couple of months and the Headline Awards completely snuck up on me.

Congrats to all the winners, including a couple of people on my FL--gilescandy and dragonyphoenix!

To my surprise (because of the strength of the other stories in the category), my Giles/Willow ficlet You Make My Heart Sing won runner up in the Twosome of Cuteness Award.

Thanks so much to the judges for the kind words, and thanks to whoever nominated the story!

The Willowy Goodness Awards have been announced! Congrats to all the winners, with a special shout-out. those on my FL: spikesredqueen, velvetwhip, snogged, kwritten, and dragonyphoenix! This was an amazing round with so many categories chock-full of terrific stories, which made voting a challenge.

Special thanks to dragonydreams for all the work she does running these awards. You're the best!

Also, I picked up a few awards myself, for my Willow/Giles fic The Borders of Night Start to Give and my Willow/Kennedy fic My Heart the Red Sun, Your Heart the Moon Clouded. These were the two hardest fics for me to write last year, for a variety of reasons, so it's particularly exciting to pick up wins for them.

Thanks once again to scratchingpost1 for giving me a plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone and to dragonyphoenix and gilescandy, who both did awesome beta work on Borders.

In a completely-unexpected development, my story The Sound You Found for Me tied for runner up for I Will Remember You (Best Angst). (Seriously, the other nominees in that category are amazing, amazing heart-crushers, one and all, written by some of the best writers in the fandom.)

Many thanks to whoever nominated the story, to aliceinkinkland for a prompt that led me to explore a particularly painful time in Tara's life, and to angelus2hot for creating a gorgeous banner that fits the story perfectly. This made my day!
