High Fidelity (TV): 

Clyde/Rob:
Their relationship was an absolute mess, but I still somehow kept rooting for it to work out.  I love the bit on their first date where Clyde asks Rob if she would get up and leave if he admitted that he loves Dreams by Fleetwood Mac, Rob delivers a treatise about the song and the album and the band. She then gets embarrassed, but Clyde’s enthusiastic about her enthusiasm, then sheepishly asks if she's gonna leave because he doesn’t like Fleetwood Mac enough. There’s something about Clyde vibing on Rob’s obsessiveness that I love.

Prompts:

• Post-canon fic about their feelings for each other. How much does Rob regret the way that she hurt Clyde? What makes Clyde think there’s even a 9% chance of things working out.
• Post-canon drunken hookup that goes well or disastrously, your choice.
  
• Music nerdery: Rob or Clyde creates a mixtape of music that reminds them of their relationship.
  

Homicide: Life on the Street:  

Frank Pembleton/Tim Bayliss: 

I could listen to these two talk until the end of time. I love the way the discussions range from truly trivial banter to deeply vulnerable and intimate conversations. I love the sort of push-pull of the relationship, with Bayliss wanting a deeper connection, and gradually wearing down Frank’s natural loner tendencies. I loved the way they worked together in interrogations, finishing each other's sentences as they tried to coax a confession out of suspects. I love how much they mean to each other—Bayliss literally takes a bullet for Frank; Frank gives up a job that he loves for Tim. 

Specific DNWs for this pairing:  

• Infidelity/polyamory/open relationships. I’m fine with Frank being divorced, or an AU where he never married Mary. 
• Fics set in prison 
• Unrequited love (mutual pining or mutual UST is fine) 

Prompts: 

• Tim struggles to find the right way to tell Frank that he has feelings for him, but keeps getting sidetracked or distracted by other things. 

• Established relationship fic: an epic argument about whether a burrito is a sandwich (or some other equal trivial topic). 

• Canon-divergence AU: Tim has left Homicide for a security job in L.A. Frank tries to convince him to return to Baltimore.

Eve/Fabiola: 

I loved Fabiola’s arc, and I liked that Eve had an inkling that Fabiola was gay, when it was a surprise to everyone else. I’d like to see more of them together, and especially to learn more about Eve. 

Prompts:

• Eve POV fic: When did Eve first notice, when did Fabiola first ping on Eve’s gaydar, and what made Eve ask Fabiola to the fundraiser at the queer youth center?
  
• First date fic: Eve and Fabiola’s first date is a disaster, for reasons mostly out of their control, but they still manage to get to know each other a little better.
  
• Established relationship fic: Eve cheers on Fabiola at a robot fighting competition.
  
• Established relationship fic: Fabiola’s invited to Eve’s house to meet Eve’s parents.
  

Devi Vishwakumar & Eleanor Wong & Fabiola Torres: 

I love this group’s energy together; they have fairly distinct personalities and interests, but try their best to be supportive of one another. 

Prompts:

• Pre-canon fic: How the three of them first met and became friends.
  
• Pre-canon fic: The time when Devi’s in a wheelchair, from Fabiola and/or Eleanor’s POV.
  
• Canon or post-canon: The three get together at Eleanor’s house, ostensibly for SAT prep, but things get weird when a game of Truth or Dare gets out of hand.
